Well, Mike and his crew from Knoxville Roofing Solutions did it!  They showed up at 7 AM yesterday, ripped off TWO layers of old beat up shingles, and recovered my roof with 30 year “architectural” shingles by GAF, called “Weatherwood.”  They finished and had everything cleaned up and perfect by 4 PM!  They even picked up every nail with magnets.  Spic and Span!  Roof looks great!  Dead straight, good flashing and caulk.  Gutters are next! Anybody know a good Roofing Contractor in Knoxville?  Boy, that storm two weeks ago just hammered my whole house. Now the roof is leaking.  Apparently the wind and hail actually pulled the roof ridge vent clear out from under the roof shingles.

Luckily, I just met a great guy who owns a Knoxville Roofing Company, called “Roofing Solutions.”  And, he needs a new website, so we are making a deal.  Cool!  Hope he gets a TARP on the roof pretty fast, before it starts raining again…
